Whew!

What a week it has been!  This school year has started out with a bang....so much going on and so many needs.  I have definitely not been bored!  I have to say how thrilled I am with the progress some of my older students have been making.  It's really exciting to see them mature and really start to apply what they have been learning over the years....big time blessing to me!

Tomorrow I have my last outing with my Girl Scout troop.  Should be fun, but bittersweet.  I know for sure that I need to simplify my life, but it's always hard to say goodbye to those you have invested in for so long.

I have been reading in Genesis lately and am constantly amazed at how little I really know and understand God.  I am so thankful that He loves me and is so patient with me, because the more I read His Word, the more I realize just how desperately I need Him to survive from day to day.  I'm so glad that it is NOT about how good I am, but about how good HE IS!
